Have you noticed that Church Center has been rolling out some changes? For example, in the Church Center app have you noticed the new Chat icon in the upper right hand corner or that when you access a group the Messages tab has been replaced by a Group Dashboard tab? So far some of the changes they are making are only affecting the Church Center app while other changes are affecting both the app and the browser version of Church Center. Our goal for the next several Church Center Tips of the Week is to highlight some of these changes as well as revise some of the past tips so they are up to date with the recent changes.
This Church Center Tip of the Week will focus on the new Chat icon. In a nutshell, the new Chat icon is a place to see all of the chats from all of the groups you are a member of in one place. Church Center is going to be rolling out additional features for this new Chat icon but for now the main thing to note is there is now an easy way to see all of the communications that are occurring across all of your groups in one central location. You can respond to the chats as well as mark them as read/unread from this one central location. To learn more, CLICK HERE.

Church Center Check-In: Are you seeing odd things when Checking In via Church Center? Church Center recently rolled out a new change that is affecting our Check-In process. After going through the check-in process, instead of receiving the message that you have successfully been checked in, some people are receiving a QR Code that says “Your precheck is complete! Scan this code at a Check-ins kiosk" and some people are receiving a barcode that says "Show this to a leader at check out". If you see either of those things, please just disregard them. Receiving either one of those two things means you have successfully been checked in. In addition to the above, some people are finding they don’t see their whole household for choosing who to check in. If that is the case, please check in who you can. Church Center is currently working on a fix for all of these problems and hopefully it will be back to how it used to be soon. Thank you for your patience.
